Veterinary Receptionist (Maternity Cover)
We are looking for a friendly and approachable Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Oaks Vet Centre. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and experience in customer service and administrative tasks. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills both verbal and written, strong organisational skills, attention to details, the ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment and proficiency in computer skills.
Duties will include:
General reception duties which includes greeting clients and their pets as they arrive at the practice. Customer care is important to us and we want our clients to feel comfortable and relaxed. Others duties include:
* Triage emergency phone calls
* Scheduling appointments
* Dispensing medications
* Processing payments/banking
* Dealing with outstanding accounts
* Maintain cleanliness of reception, consult rooms and communal areas
About the team
Our greatest asset is our team. Our experienced team of veterinary surgeons is supported by a dedicated team of nurses and support staff. We all pride ourselves on providing the highest level of patient care and customer service. We have a reception team of 11 working over 3 practices in Ayrshire, Saltcoats, Largs and Dundonald.
We are looking for someone to work 40 hours over 4 days per week. There will also be 1 in 8 weekends.
