RF Microwave Engineer | Stoke | Up to £60,000 DoE
We have partnered with an internationally recognised organisation in radar technology that is expanding its engineering team with the appointment of an RF/Microwave Antenna Engineer.
They’re seeking a RF/Microwave Engineer to contribute to the design, simulation, and development of advanced Aerospace Systems.
Responsibilities:
Conduct RF and microwave modelling and simulation at both system and component levels using industry-standard tools (e.g., CST Microwave Studio, CARPET).
Support the design and performance analysis of radar systems, antennas, and passive microwave components.
Occasionally participate in hands-on RF build and testing, including antenna and waveguide component evaluation.
Assist in preparing technical documentation and proposals for customer tenders.
Experience required:
A BSc or BEng or Higher degree (MSc or PhD) in a related engineering or physics discipline.
Recent experience in RF systems performance simulation or RF/microwave component design using CST or similar tools.
Proficiency in MATLAB and radar system modelling tools such as CARPET 3.
Understanding of pulse-compressed radar systems, antenna near-field testing, and waveguide or stripline design.
