Overview
We are looking for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with special educational needs and help them achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment. Beginning September 2025.
Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs.
* Work alongside teachers to deliver tailored learning activities.
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
* Assist with behaviour management and help create an inclusive classroom environment.
* Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Support with personal care and additional needs where required.
Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential).
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting learning.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
* Ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all students.
