My client, a manufacturing/engineering company based near Stourport-on-Severn is looking to recruit a Sales Engineer - After Sales on a Permanent basis.
You will be a key member of the sales team, building relationships with existing and new customers, producing quotes in a professional and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
* Process customer orders.
* Deal with enquiries over the phone, email and sometimes in person (client visits).
* Produce quotes in a timely manner and follow up appropriately.
* Provide product information to clients in a clear and professional manner.
* Keep customers updated on order status.
* Maintain accurate records at all times.
* Explore new business opportunities.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role ideally within manufacturing.
* Good knowledge of AutoCAD, 2D and 3D.
* Good IT skills.
* Excellent communication skills with an ability to get on people at all levels of business.
* Good numerical skills.
* Strong negotiating skills with an ability to overcome objections.
The salary for this role is up to £36,000.
