You will be at the heart of supporting our customers making a big difference to five adults, all of whom have learning disabilities and/or autism and require 24/7 support. You'll make a big difference each day as you help our customers achieve their hopes and aspirations. What you’ll do * Providing regulated care, which will include administration of medication, provision of personal care including support with bathing and dressing. * You will assist customers with practical daily living tasks to develop their independence, helping them to achieve the goals, aspirations and outcomes documented in their support plans. * Helping customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting and providing support in the community. * Support attending appointments, taking part in hobbies and interests or attend college or work. * Support customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments. * Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews. You have * A level 2 or above, or equivalent in social care or being willing to work towards this * Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working together with an eye for detail * Experience of caring for others, professionally or personally * Experience of working on own initiative, remaining calm under pressure and having a resilient approach * A flexible, personal approach, listening to customers to understand their needs, recognising that every customer is different The practical bits * Flexible working patterns will be available on a rota basis due to the service needing cover 24/7. * Where we are flexible with you, we do need to meet the needs of our customers.
That may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion. * Using technology for creating and updating support plans / doing mandatory learning / keeping in touch with colleagues * You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
