Seckford Hall is a 4* hotel set in a magnificent Tudor building in the heart of Suffolk. Steeped in history and set amongst 34 acres of private Suffolk countryside, the hotel boasts luxurious accommodation, a 2 AA rosette restaurant, leisure and spa facilities for both business and personal use. We are now looking to recruit Bar staff to join our vibrant, talented team who will deliver excellent service and maximise the customer experience throughout their visit to Seckford Hall. The successful candidates should have previous bar experience and ideally experience in cocktail making. This role will will the applicant to be completely flexible in terms of working hours. Applicants should be over the age of 18 due to serving alcohol unsupervised.
Applicants should possess the following attributes
* Well-presented & punctual
* Previous experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment preferred
* Have a genuine passion for customer service and people
* Attention to detail for when serving drinks
* Able to provide a welcoming environment
Duties and responsibilities include:
* Welcoming customers at the bar area and engaging with the guest
* Providing knowledgeable and creative drink recommendations
* Fulfilling customer drink orders accurately and promptly
* Keeping the bar stocked by replacing empty bottles and kegs of beer
* Cleaning the bar, washing glasses and wiping down surfaces
* Taking card payments from customers
* Keeping up to date with the latest drink trends
* Verifying the age and checking the identification of potential customers
