About the Role
Join our dynamic Engineering Team as a Maintenance Technician at our food crumbing and coating production facility in Gainsborough! In this exciting role, you will perform both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on our assets, ensuring maximum plant availability and smooth production flow.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a unique 4-on, 4-off shift schedule, allowing you to balance work and life effectively.

Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will:
* Comply with health and safety policies and regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to minimize risks.
* Lock off dangerous machinery and notify relevant personnel.
* Resolve breakdowns and carry out preventive maintenance to minimize production downtime.
* Proactively undertake maintenance on offline machinery when time allows.
* Complete PM sheets with observations and recommendations, filing them with the Maintenance Planner.
* Gather information from production personnel to expedite fault-finding processes.
* Maintain accurate engineering logs and computer systems with relevant information.
* Communicate professionally with external parties, reflecting our company profile.
What Do I Need to Bring to the Role?
* HNC, City & Guilds, or time-served apprenticeship with relevant engineering qualifications.
* Experience in a similar role, ideally within a food manufacturing environment (other manufacturing experience is also valued).
* Multi-skilled with a strong electrical background.
* Essential experience with pneumatics, packaging machinery, and fault-finding abilities.
* Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a strong advantage.
* A flexible approach with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
* Experience with SAP is a plus.
