Weetwood Hall are looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join us in this exciting opportunity to oversea our F&B operation, including restaurants, bars and function rooms
Weetwood Hall is a beautiful Four-star hotel in Leeds, set within nine acres of stunning woodlands and gardens and built around a 17th Century Jacobean Manor House. Providing the very best in contemporary and unique guest experiences, our hotel is steeped in rich history with parts of our beautiful property dating back as far as 1540. Guests can indulge in the tranquil surroundings of our grand estate and escape everyday life with us. The hotel features 114 rooms, 20 conference and seminar rooms, a locally sourced modern menu from its Convive restaurant and is also a beautiful wedding venue. Weetwood Hall is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the University of Leeds and managed by 7 Hospitality Management.
What will I be doing?
As Food and Beverage Manager for Weetwood Hall we are looking for a positive can do attitude to drive exceptional standards and guest experience. You will be responsible for the following tasks;
Take accountability for all F&B operations across the restaurants, bars and function rooms, reporting to the Operations Manager
Control of expenditure within F&B outlets
Identify and act upon opportunities to grow revenue and reduce costs within the F&B department
Ensure full compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Ensure the completion of the shift handovers and shift checklists
Manage the day-to-day operation of F&B outlets
Plan, coordinate and lead weekly F&B meetings
Ensure compliance with regard to food hygiene and hotel food and beverage systems in line with the company Food Policy & current legislation
Deal with customer complaints ensuring effective outcomes
Utilise personnel between all F&B outlets to minimise payroll expenditure and ensure flexibility of the team and optimise staff stability
Prepare weekly staff rotas
Be fully accountable for all team members within the F&B units in terms of recruitment and performance management
Develop and train new and existing staff on hotel standards and procedures, to ensure all staff are fully trained.

Previous experience in the same or similar role within a hotel environment, be able to run events
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer/client service
Ability to communicate and influence across all stakeholders
A strong ability to manage business/workflow priorities to ensure success of department
Team player and able to work proactively with a wide remit
Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
Experience of managing or supervising a team
