About Us
Woldgrain Storage Ltd was established in 1980 and is currently a 100,000 tonne Grain Storage facility, a modern member owned cooperative situated at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds.
Role Purpose
Owing to a pending retirement, reporting to the shift Supervisor(s) we are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our diverse team as a Grain Store Operative. The successful applicant will be responsible for a broad and interesting range of duties in a modern working environment where no day is ever the same.
About You
You have a positive attitude towards your work, you’re motivated and have high levels of attention to detail. You’re a team player, personable and a great communicator. Happy to work in and out of doors in all conditions and able to fit into a team that has a strong health and safety culture, with a willingness to take responsibility for the safety of themselves, and those around them at all times.
Personal Qualities and Experience
DESIRABLE (Training will be provided)
* Previous experience in an agriculture arena
* Mechanical knowledge
* AN ELECTRICAL QUALIFICATION OR PARTIAL STUDY/TRAINING MAY ATTRACT A BETTER RATE(S) OF PAY
ESSENTIAL
* A safe approach at work at all times
* Strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude, a willingness to learn
* Able to work and communicate well within a small team, occasionally alone
* The ability to work at heights
* Flexibility toward overtime and potential seasonal (Harvest) shift work
