Overview
We are currently recruiting, on behalf of one of our partner provisions, for a passionate and dedicated Generalist SEN Teacher to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a newly developed KS4 and Post-16 setting, supporting learners with a range of additional needs.
The provision caters for students with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and other complex needs, all of whom have an EHCP. Many of the young people have experienced disrupted educational journeys, and the school is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and aspirational environment that enables students to thrive.
Their ethos is rooted in trauma-informed relational practice, with small class sizes, personalised learning, and strong staff-student relationships at the core of everything they do.
Responsibilities / Qualities
* Demonstrate the ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge learners
* Be reflective, flexible, and resilient, with strong interpersonal skills
* Have experience teaching Functional Skills (Maths, English, Digital Skills)
* Ideally bring knowledge of Employability, Occupational Studies, Duke of Edinburgh, or King\'s Trust programmes
