We are a small but ambitious and growing automotive design, development and manufacturer of bespoke components for prestigious car manufacturers.
We are looking for an electronics engineer who is passionate about innovation. An engineer who wants to work in an expanding team and wants to grow and develop our next range of innovative products, working closely with a talented engineering department to produce complex mechatronic assemblies.
About You:
You MUST have
* Qualified in electrical/electronics engineering or a related field, preferably to degree level;
* 2 - 5 years of experience in electronics design and development;
* Strong knowledge and competence of PCB design, digital circuits, microcontrollers and embedded systems;
* Experience with CAD tools such as Altium Designer, CAD or similar;
* Understanding of functional safety and automotive standards (ISO26262, AED-Q100, etc);
* Exceptional conceptual, analytical and problem-solving abilities;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Would be nice if you have
* Experience of hands-on automotive testing and validation procedures;
* Experience with power electronics (DC-DC converters, inverters, battery management);
* Experience designing motor control units;
* Awareness of best practice design rules, manufacturing and volume assembly techniques;
* Knowledge of automotive sensor integration and signal processing;
* Experience in Arm microcontroller firmware development (C/C++);
* Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN).

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
