Are you an experienced social worker and council officer with proven experience of adult support and protection work? Are you a natural leader and ready to develop best practice in safeguarding adults at risk of harm?
We are looking for Social Workers to join our Adult Support and Protection team to develop safeguarding practice in our work with care home residents and those supported by partner providers.
Working across East Renfrewshire you will be working within a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team. This will involve completing Inquiries and Investigations under the ASP Act to ensure the safety and wellbeing of local residents. The role involves undertaking duty work for the team, managing a caseload, devising and implementing Protection Plans when required. Ensuring individuals get access to all of the appropriate services available to them, their carers and families at the right time.
You will have a good understanding of the current health and social care landscape; self-directed support; the value of outcomes focussed supports for people to enable them to live in their communities and recognise the value of forming effective relationships with other professionals and agencies. This includes the importance of our third sector and community partnerships, and the key role they play in supporting individuals across East Renfrewshire.
We are a modern and ambitious Health and Social Care Partnership who are focussed on the people of East Renfrewshire achieving their full potential, regardless of any additional barriers.
