About the role:
We are looking for a full time activity co-ordinator to join our team in our day service in Crewe, Cheshire.
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team. You will play a key role in planning, organising, and delivering engaging activities that bring joy, encourage independence, and promote wellbeing. Activities may include arts and crafts, music, cooking, games, community outings, exercise sessions, and themed events. You will work with each person to understand their likes/dislikes, abilities and needs to put together individual activity plans and evaluate regularly.
You will lead and encourage the people we support to join in meaningful activities whilst maintaining their independence, and dignity, to enable them to lead a full and active life as possible.
You will engage with the local community by initiating contact with community groups enabling the people we support to partake / continue with hobbies and interests as desired.
No two days are the same and often the day evolves around the people attending. Their moods and minds can and will change any plans that have been made will need to be adapted therefore someone with the abilities to think quick .
You must hold a full UK driving licence for this role.
Hours:
1 full time or 2 part time positions available
Monday – Friday 9am-5pm. Flexibility is required to work evenings when activities such as bingo or discos are taking place.
2 weekends out of 4 if/when required.

The day service is located in Crewe, Cheshire.
About you:
We are looking for a kind, compassionate and creative person who can provide stimulating activities for the people we support. You must be able to think outside the box and have the ability and experience of planning activities and trips out.
You'll need to be warm, empathetic, and personable to join us as activity co-ordinator. Your organisational skills and ability to build rapport to positively influence others and communicate effectively will promote social engagement and independence. Your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire the people we support and staff to get involved in activities both within their home and in the local community.
Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn't essential - especially because we'll make sure you have the training you need to develop your skills and progress your career with us.
A full UK Driving licence is essential for this role.
