Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of both financial management and human resources. This role is crucial in ensuring that our practice runs efficiently while providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
* Manage the overall operations of the practice, ensuring high standards of service and care.
* Supervise staff, including clinicians, fostering a positive work environment.
* Oversee financial management tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to ensure the practice's profitability.
* Implement human resources policies and procedures, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
* Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within the dentistry field.
* Monitor supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
* Handle patient enquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring a high level of customer service.
* CQC registration is an advantage.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a managerial role within dentistry is essential.
* Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting and resource allocation.
* Excellent human resources knowledge with the ability to manage personnel effectively.
* Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams.
* Relevant qualifications in business management or dental practice management would be advantageous.
