Job Overview
They are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to help keep their high-speed production facility running smoothly. In this key role, you will help ensure equipment reliability, support continuous improvement activities, and contribute to maintaining a safe and productive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to reduce downtime and keep production running
* Support engineering upgrades, line improvements, and optimisation projects
* Work closely with production colleagues to maintain high equipment performance
* Ensure maintenance tasks are logged and carried out in line with site quality, safety, and compliance standards
Requirements
* Mechanical and/or electrical engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC, etc.)
* Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments
* Strong hands-on fault-finding and problem-solving skills
