Prospero Teaching is recruiting a number of dynamic and dedicated Welsh speaking Teaching Assistants to join a number of supportive schools in South Wales. If you’re looking to work in an inspiring educational environment and help students achieve their full potential, we’d love to hear from you!
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students in both small groups and 1:1 setting, helping them with their academic progress and personal development. You will play a key role in creating an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere.
Position Details

Location – Various locations across South-West Wales
Position – Welsh speaking Teaching Assistant
Type of work – Teaching Assistant – day to day and long term cover in various schools
Start date – ASAP
Duration / Likely Duration – Day to day bookings, with the potential for extension depending on schools
End date (if applicable) – N/A
Contract type – Temporary
Full time/part time – Part time and full time depending on schools needs
Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £ per hour
Hours – 8:45 am – 3:20pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover
What Were Looking For:
· Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school or educational setting (though not essential).
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
· A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
· Ability to motivate and inspire students.
