They are now looking to add an experienced Maintenance Technician to their team, responsible for maintaining and improving complex machinery and site assets within a high-performance manufacturing environment.
The Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of manufacturing operations. You’ll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of manual and CNC machinery, as well as site infrastructure, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
You’ll work closely with other engineers and production teams to diagnose faults, perform repairs, and support continuous improvement initiatives that drive reliability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on production machinery
* Service, repair, and troubleshoot manual and CNC equipment (Siemens or Mazak desirable)
* Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and O&M manuals
* Assist in developing maintenance procedures and improvement projects
* Support apprentices and team members with training and technical guidance
* Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental policies
* Accurately complete maintenance records, checklists, and documentation
Skills & Experience
* Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline
* Proven experience maintaining machinery in a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control systems
* Ability to work collaboratively within a small, multi-skilled team
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
* Experience with lean or continuous improvement practices beneficial
