We’re looking for a Lifeboat Management System Trainer to join our Training Team in Poole to Design, develop and deliver crew training for the new Lifeboat Management System (LMS), ensuring that crew members are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to operate the new system effectively.

Your role
As a Lifeboat Management System Trainer, you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:
9. Lead the end-to-end development of training modules to support the roll out of the LMS.
10. Translate operational requirements of the new LMS into engaging and effective learning for operational lifeboat crews.
11. Build strong stakeholder relationships with Manufacturers, Operations and Engineering departments and volunteers.
12. Monitor training effectiveness, using feedback and performance data to refine content and delivery methods.
13. Liaise with regional Management teams to plan and co-ordinate the build and roll out of LMS training courses to the coast
About you
We are seeking an experienced design practitioner with exceptional training delivery skills. Ideally experienced in designing and delivering training in electronic maritime systems, you’ll have a passion for devising engaging training materials and an instinct for understanding what works best for learners. As an excellent communicator, you will effectively manage the requirements of multiple stakeholder groups to deliver against agreed learner outcomes. Dedicated to developing others’ abilities to operate safely in challenging conditions, you will enjoy working in different environments and coaching and training people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
To be considered as the Lifeboat Management System Trainer you will need to have:
14. A recognised teaching or practical training qualification within a powerboating, motor cruising, or sea survival environment.
15. Be a Passed-out Coxswain with a current Seagoing Medical
16. Proven track record in designing and delivering innovative and engaging learning interventions
17. Extensive experience of training and assessment, ideally in a maritime environment
18. Experience in coaching, influencing and mentoring
