Subscriptions Acquisition Lead
SALARY: £30,000 - £40,000 pa depending on skills and experience
LOCATION: Home, London when needed
HOURS OF WORK: (14 hour pw) Tuesday and Thursday
REPORTING TO: Commercial Marketing Manager

PURPOSE OF ROLE
You will help build the subscriber base of Premier Christianity and Premier Woman Alive by creatively delivering data-driven marketing campaigns that successfully communicate their value proposition. You will lead multi-channel campaigns to promote Print and Digital subscriptions, and manage the subscription funnel of new subscribers. Using data analysis to review and inform your decisions, you will test and try messaging and approaches to achieve your acquisition targets. You will contribute to overall subscriber growth in collaboration with the Subscriptions Acquisition Lead.
KEY TASKS
· Create an acquisition strategy using market insights to increase brand exposure, affinity and leads.
· Optimise acquisition strategies to deliver the best types of subscribers (i.e. customer lifetime value, overall net growth).
· Plan, budget and implement end-to-end marketing campaigns to reach new potential audiences.
· Work closely with the editorial team to understand content coming up and incorporate into acquisition strategies as appropriate new subscriptions.
· Liaise with external agencies, consultants and event managers to promote our subscriptions.
· Establish strong in-bound marketing journeys via our online Content Gating system.
· Draft compelling copy and communicate brand propositions in a way reflects the value of the brand and a subscription.
· Create offer strategies, paywalls, checkout processes that optimize the subscription funnel.
· Implement and manage acquisition campaigns in Premier’s digital marketing platform, including email, lightboxes and content management system.
· Liaise with external designers and consultants to support campaigns.
· Analyze all campaign performance against goals and objectives and provide campaign results to stakeholders.
· Promote Subscription brands across Premier’s media channels: Radio, Digital, Email, Podcast, Print Ads.
· Monitor Key Acquisition Metrics: New Subs, Conversion rate, Mix, Registrations and achieve key targets in these areas.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent expertise gained through experience.
· Minimum of 5 years' experience in subscription marketing, preferably within the print and digital magazine sector.
· Demonstrable experience in improving conversion rates and optimising the subscription funnel.
· Proven track record in planning and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
· Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies.
· Experience in working with external agencies, consultants, and event managers.
· Proficient in various software used for market research, data analysis, and customer relationship management (CRM).
· Understanding of Christian audiences and market
ABILITIES & SKILLS
· Proficiency in devising and executing marketing strategies to increase brand exposure and affinity.
· Excellent copywriting skills to draft compelling subscription propositions
· Analytical skills to assess campaign performance, monitor key metrics, and make data-driven decisions.
· Ability to enhance subscriber experience, from creating engaging inbound marketing journeys to devising effective renewal strategies.
· Experience in promoting brands across various media channels and managing subscription funnels.
