APPOINTMENT OF HEADTEACHER FOR BERRIEW PRIMARY SCHOOL
Full-time permanent post – required for September 2026
Group 8-14
£62,612 - £72,579 per annum
NOR : 106
The post includes a 2 day a week teaching commitment.
The Governors of Berriew School are seeking to appoint an inspiring, dedicated and forward thinking Headteacher to lead our thriving rural school into its next exciting chapter. Berriew School is a welcoming and nurturing school at the heart of its community, with 106 enthusiastic and well-behaved pupils who are proud of their school and eager to learn.
Surrounded by a supportive rural community, we value strong relationships, high expectations and a caring ethos where every child is known and encouraged to achieve their very best.
The successful candidate must hold the NPQH qualification, or be currently enrolled on, or
working towards the NPQH program, for the position of acting headteacher.
