Qualified Social Worker - Learning Disability Team
Location: Slough Borough Council
Rate: £40 per hour
Type: Locum
Start Date: ASAP (to replace outgoing social worker on 11th April 2025)
We are urgently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Learning Disability Team at Slough Borough Council.
This role has become available due to a current locum leaving on 11th April 2025, and we are looking for an immediate replacement to ensure continuity of care and service delivery.
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
Experience working with adults with learning disabilities in a statutory setting
Strong understanding of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding procedures
Ability to manage complex caseloads and work effectively as part of a team
