Commercial Contracts Manager UK Based
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to join our EMEA team, reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager. This UK-based role will support the drafting, negotiation, execution, and management of a broad range of commercial and international government contracts, with a particular focus on distribution and sales/service channel agreements across the region.
You will work independently and engage regularly with senior and executive stakeholders across multiple functions, including Sales, Service, Bids and Proposals, Finance, Procurement, and Engineering. The role also involves supporting operational contracts and contributing to bids and proposals for direct sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, negotiate, and manage complex commercial and government contracts
Prepare and maintain distribution, resale, and service agreements
Support bid reviews and prepare legal documentation for submissions
Identify and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Provide guidance and training to commercial teams on contractual matters
Liaise with legal counsel and compliance teams on anti-corruption and export control requirements
Maintain contract records and support contract management platform users
Experience & Qualifications:
Experience in a contracts or legal department within a complex international environment
Strong background in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and process-driven
Law degree required; additional qualifications in contract law or commercial agreements desirable
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with contract management systems preferred
Experience in the security or threat detection industry is a plus
Flexibility to travel occasionally
