The Role:
As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring both patients and staff have the best possible experience. This is a leadership position that combines business administration, team management, and a commitment to exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations of the dental practice.
* Manage staff rotas, recruitment, training, and HR-related tasks.
* Ensure compliance with CQC, GDC, and other regulatory bodies.
* Handle patient feedback, complaints, and service improvement initiatives.
* Monitor KPIs and manage budgets, billing, and financial reporting.
* Support marketing and patient acquisition efforts.
* Maintain and promote health and safety standards.
* Work closely with clinical staff to ensure high standards of patient care.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Practice Manager (dental or medical preferred).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge of dental software systems,R4.
* Understanding of CQC standards and compliance.
* Financial acumen and budgeting experience.
* A positive, proactive, and professional attitude.
Desirable:
* Relevant qualifications in practice management or leadership.
* Familiarity with private and NHS dental care.
