Senior Electronic Design Engineer (High-speed PCB)
Location: Guildford - full-time onsite
Salary: Up to £85,000 Gross Per Annum DOE
Operating at the forefront of defence, aerospace, and advanced RF technology, developing and delivering high‑performance systems into complex, real‑world environments. Engineering teams work across the full lifecycle, from early‑stage R&D through to demonstrators and deployed capability, supporting customers with mission‑critical solutions.
The environment is highly technical and collaborative, bringing together specialists across RF design, signal processing, electronics, firmware, and software to deliver fully integrated systems that are tested, validated, and proven at system level.
Your Role:
You’ll join a specialist engineering team developing advanced wireless hardware solutions for use in highly demanding, real‑world environments. Working closely with government and trusted partners, the focus is on building technology that delivers meaningful impact where performance and reliability are critical.
You’ll see your designs move from concept through to deployed capability, working across the full engineering lifecycle. You’ll be part of a hands‑on environment that values problem‑solving, technical ownership, and collaboration, tackling challenges that require both depth and creativity.
Due to the nature of the work, this role is primarily on‑site within a secure environment, with flexibility around working patterns where possible.
Your background:
* Experience in high‑speed or RF PCB and circuit design, including component selection
* Proven ability to own design decisions and deliver hardware through the full development lifecycle
* Comfortable working on‑site within a secure engineering environment
* Eligible and willing to obtain UK security clearance, subject to relevant requirements
