Overview
Subway Sandwich Artist, Wollaston. 16 hours per week. Any between 08:30 and 19:30 on any days. Role within the Subway department at Blakemore Trade Partners, reporting directly to the Subway Duty Manager. You will greet and interact with customers in a helpful and friendly manner, create a pleasant experience while completing orders.
Responsibilities
* Preparing all sandwich ingredients, including baking cookies/bread and washing, cutting, slicing, chopping and grating ingredients in accordance with established guidelines.
* Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain options to customers accurately.
* Neatly prepare sandwiches according to customer orders.
* Restock sandwich ingredients to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
* Use the till to record the order, take payment and give correct change where necessary.
* Understand and adhere to Subway, SPAR and company operating processes, policies and procedures.
* Adhere to all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards when storing/preparing/serving food and cleaning the department.
Key Skills/Knowledge
* Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred
* Some understanding of health and food safety legislative responsibilities in a food environment
* Ability to contribute ideas for delivering exceptional customer service and driving the business at SPAR
* Keen and enthusiastic approach to working both in a team and independently
