Contract type: Permanent, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm

About the Role:

Are you an experienced Project Manager with exceptional organisational and people skills? Are you ready to take on your next challenge with a thriving manufacturing company?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a leading manufacturing organisation in Broadstairs. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, where you will play a key role in driving project success from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as the primary point of communication between customers and internal departments, ensuring clear, concise, and effective updates.

* Oversee projects to ensure lead times are met and maintain alignment with the company's timelines.

* Manage the commercial aspects of projects to protect and maximise margins where within your control.

* Process accurate project data, identifying and implementing necessary changes.

* Collaborate with Directors to secure sign-offs and agreement on key deliverables.

* Maintain real-time updates to reflect site changes and communicate these effectively to all relevant stakeholders.

* Take ownership of variation cost increases and ensure they are communicated and justified.

* Monitor and flag early signs of project disruptions, such as underperformance in products, installations, or site conditions that may impact timelines and invoicing.

* Escalate concerns through the agreed process to mitigate risks.

* Deliver outstanding customer service, maintaining a client-focused approach throughout the project lifecycle which includes administrative duties and learning new internal workflow IT systems.

What We’re Looking For:

* Proven experience in project management, preferably within the manufacturing or related industries.

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

* Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and protecting margins.

* Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential project issues.

* High attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions.
