An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced children’s nurse ( maternity cover) to join our Children's Community Nursing Team that covers Barking, Dagenham and Havering brough. The successful candidate will be required to work Autonomy within the home setting, and demonstrate a high level of clinical expertise and an enthusiasm of delivering care to children and their families within the community setting. They must be able to evidence their ability to motivate and inspire others and work collaboratively with multi- disciplinary and multi-agency teams to deliver the highest standards of care, staff support and service delivery. They must have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude to service developments. Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care to infants/children who require the support of the Children’s Homecare Team in the community.
The post holder will share a generic caseload with supervision/support from a senior team member.He/she will also be involved in providing palliative and end of life nursing care to infants/children.This may include on call and weekend cover, as required.
