The Role
As Head of Engineering, you will set the vision for designing, building, and operating secure, modern, user‑centred digital services that support Scotland’s people, property, and economy. You will lead a community of around 100 engineers, driving excellence through cloud, DevSecOps, and AI‑enabled tools while fostering an inclusive, innovative culture.

Location & Working Pattern
Hybrid working model with a contractual base at either Meadowbank House, Edinburgh (EH8 7AU) or St Vincent Plaza, Glasgow (G2 5LD). 35 hours per week with flexible arrangements such as compressed hours, term‑time working, or part‑time working on a case‑by‑case basis.
Additional Information
 * Standard pension contribution of 28.97% of base salary.
 * Annual leave of 42 days.
 * Permanent contract.
