Making a real difference to learners’ lives

Are you passionate about safeguarding, wellbeing, and helping learners thrive? Do you believe everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and able to succeed in learning and work?

We are looking for a Safeguarding & Wellbeing Support Officer to join our growing team at t2 group, an independent training provider delivering high-quality work-based learning and apprenticeship programmes.

This is a key role at the heart of our organisation, supporting learners across our provision and helping to create a strong, positive safeguarding culture.

About the Role

As our Safeguarding & Wellbeing Support Officer, you will:

* Be a trusted point of contact for learners who need support with wellbeing or safeguarding concerns
* Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead in responding to safeguarding issues and maintaining robust processes
* Work closely with tutors, assessors, employers, and external agencies to ensure learners are safe and supported
* Help learners overcome barriers to learning, engagement, and achievement
* Promote a proactive, learner-centred approach to safeguarding and wellbeing

This role is ideal for someone who is empathetic, organised, and confident handling sensitive situations — and who wants to make a tangible difference every day.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

* Has experience in safeguarding, wellbeing, or learner support
* Understands safeguarding responsibilities within education or training
* Is calm, compassionate, and able to build trust quickly
* Can manage confidential information with professionalism and care
* Is committed to promoting learner safety, wellbeing, and inclusion
* Experience in apprenticeships or work-based learning is welcome, but not essential — we value the right mindset just as much as experience.

Why Join Us?

* Make a meaningful impact on learners’ lives
* Join a supportive, values-driven organisation
* Work in a role where safeguarding is genuinely prioritised
* Ongoing professional development and training
* Collaborative and welcoming team culture

Benefits

* Equipment is provided
* 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (increasing with length of service)
* Christmas & New Year shutdown period
* Pension scheme
* Specsavers scheme
* Access to 1000's of student discounts inc. Unidays, Student Beans and TOTUM
* £500 employee referral bonus scheme
* Enhanced sick pay & maternity reward vouchers
* Employee well-being and assistance programme
* Access to EV company car scheme
* Life assurance cover

Due to the nature of the role, an enhanced DBS check will be required for any candidate who is successful.
