Role: Locum Planning & Highways Solicitor/Lawyer
Location: Fully remote
Hours: Flexible (part-time and full-time options available)
Duration: 3 month initial contract - likely to be extended
Role Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality legal advice and services to various departments, ensuring legal soundness in policy and operational decisions.
* Draft legal documents and agreements, and assist in negotiations, litigation, and advocacy.
* Collaborate with project teams and offer legal training and guidance.
* Manage legal caseloads with minimal supervision, including attending meetings and providing legal representation when needed.
* Stay updated on legal developments and ensure the effective implementation of best practices.
* Provide advice and guidance on risk, policy, and legal matters as required.
Compensation: Competitive pay rate of £50-£60 per hour. Fully remote work with flexible working hours (part-time and full-time options). Opportunity to gain valuable experience within a high-performing legal team.
