Job Title: Global Logistics Executive

Location: Heathrow

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (19:00 - 07:00)

Salary: £42,000 - £48,000

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Global Logistics Executive to support time-critical freight operations across Road, Air, and Sea during the night shift. This role is ideal for someone with experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or aviation who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage urgent shipments with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage import and export shipments across Road, Air, and Sea freight.
• Complete freight bookings, AWBs, customs declarations, and transit documentation.
• Ensure all shipments, including AOG and critical aircraft parts, are delivered on time and in line with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Review and verify customs entries and shipping documentation.
• Provide customers with timely shipment updates.
• Source freight rates and routing options and prepare quotations.
• Ensure accurate job costing and supplier information is recorded within internal systems.
• Manage operational mailboxes and prioritise workload effectively.
• Follow operational procedures and compliance requirements at all times.

About You

• Experience within logistics, freight forwarding, aviation, or another time-critical operational environment.
• Calm under pressure with the ability to manage urgent and high-priority shipments.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicator, able to liaise with customers, suppliers, airlines, agents, and internal teams.
• Proactive, solution-focused, and capable of making decisions independently.
• IT proficient, including Microsoft Office and freight management/customs systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence with fewer than 6 penalty points.
• Able to provide a 5-year checkable employment history.
• Right to work in the UK and no disqualifying convictions for airside operations.
