Location – Derbyshire / Hybrid (3–4 days per week)
Your New Employer
Join a growing building services consultancy with a strong pipeline of projects across healthcare, commercial offices, and defence infrastructure. With a newly launched electrical design division and a dynamic leadership team and they offer an exciting opportunity to work across technically varied and meaningful projects, all while supporting your long-term career growth.
Your New Role
As a Building Services Engineer, you'll focus on the electrical design of essential systems—ranging from lighting and alarms to telecoms and access control. You’ll support the design and delivery of complex infrastructure for environments like hospitals, administrative buildings, and army barracks. Working alongside senior engineers, you’ll help shape high-spec designs that meet both technical and compliance standards. The role is hands-on, varied, and ideal for someone looking to contribute to a growing division with real autonomy.
Your Background
You should hold at least an HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline and have a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in electrical building services design. You’ll need hands-on experience with at least one of the following design tools: AutoCAD, Revit, or Trimble. Familiarity with MOD or defence-related projects is a plus, but not essential. Most importantly, you should bring solid technical know-how, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to grow with a close-knit and ambitious team.
In Return
You’ll be part of a business that values your input, supports your development, and offers the flexibility of hybrid working. With a competitive salary and exposure to diverse projects, this is a chance to take the next step in your building services career while contributing to critical infrastructure projects across the UK.
