Join Bligh School as a Teaching Assistant
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Mon - Friday 8:30 - 3:30)
Contract: Fixed Term Contract until 20th July 2026

About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a meaningful difference every day.
This role has a strong focus on working with pupils in small groups, delivering 1:1 style interventions, and supporting larger groups during lunchtime sessions — helping children build confidence, develop independence and engage positively with school life.
Whether you’re supporting a small group, assisting with whole-class activities, or helping a child who needs a little extra encouragement, your role will be varied, rewarding and vital to our school community.
In this role, you will:
1. Support learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher
2. Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups
3. Support lunchtime groups and activities where needed
4. Help pupils develop confidence, independence and a love of learning
5. Foster a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the classroom experience
