About the Role
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:
* Work one-to-one or in small groups with children who require additional support to engage with learning and manage behaviour.
* Implement individual support plans, under the guidance of teachers and SENCOs, to promote positive behaviour and learning outcomes.
* Support children in developing social, emotional, and communication skills, tailored to their individual needs.
* Be an essential part of a nurturing and structured school environment, helping students feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience in an educational setting, or transferable experience in youth work, community support, or psychology-related fields.
* Be resilient, patient, and adaptable, able to respond calmly to challenging situations.
* Have an understanding of working with children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, or learning difficulties.
* Be committed to positive outcomes for children, promoting independence and confidence.
