The Running Account Manager will join our Running Specialist Team, working with industry-leading products to deliver market-leading standards and enhance customer experience.
The Role
The Running Account Manager will oversee the fulfillment of Specialist Sports commitments to wholesale trade accounts and other partners. Responsibilities include:
* Managing a targeted list of Running customers to maximize revenue from B2B and B2C channels, ensuring timely dispatch and management of queries
* Working with a northern UK account base
* Growing the Running categories through new and existing customers, proactively developing business
* Collaborating with the Category Manager to forecast and control inventory for Running products
* Supporting retail partners' events and expos
* Working with brand coaches to deliver product training and promotional activities
* Managing and developing the customer orderbook for timely fulfillment
* Maintaining an accurate database of wholesale and B2B customers
* Creating multimedia sell-in tools and maintaining product information on the website
* Handling general sales inquiries and ensuring prompt order fulfillment
* Performing other duties as delegated by the Category Manager or Sales and Marketing Director
The ideal candidate should have relevant trade experience and qualifications, a professional and enthusiastic approach, and a personal affinity for sports, especially running. The role is primarily field-based with frequent travel to our Southampton office. Specialist Sports offers flexible working hours, with core hours defined, but hours may vary based on role requirements. The candidate should be able to identify the needs of both new and current customers, communicate effectively, and support their success with our products.
