Job Title : Logistics operative Reporting To: Manager, Stores/Despatch Work Schedule: Onsite – Tewkesbury, GBR We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Operative to join our high-performing team. You will work under the direction of the function lead and be responsible for the accurate counting, safe handling, and careful storage of a wide range of products, both manufactured and purchased. This role is working on a PM shift Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10pm with a 30 minute lunch break, and Friday 12.45pm to 7.15pm with a 20 minute break which is paid. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring correct counting and traceability of parts and materials Storing items safely in appropriate locations (shelves, racks, automated systems, or controlled environments) Utilizing our ERP and other electronic tools for inventory management and reporting Fulfilling parts requests and delivering or collecting materials from Manufacturing, Sub Assembly, Assembly & Test, Subcontractors, or Customers Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards in all work areas Strictly following all health and safety guidelines, especially regarding manual handling of heavy items Additional Information: The role may require the manual lifting and movement of heavy items; proper use of manual handling equipment is mandatory. Requirements: Clean, full driving license (company van duties included—electric or fossil fuel) Counterbalance/high reach forklift truck license preferred (training provided if needed) Experience with scissor lifts or similar MEWP platforms is an advantage (training provided) Willingness to use cleaning equipment and machines (full training provided) We review applications on an ongoing basis, and the job posting will be closed once a suitable candidate is selected.
