We have an exciting opportunity for a Buying Admin Assistant to join our Buying team at Beauty Bay. As Buying Admin, you will support our Buyers working on 3rd Party and New Product Development. The role requires excellent, attention to detail, great communication and data input skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently within existing processess.
Day to day you will be involved in:
Administration
* Creating new product lines & inputting updates into the Buying Planner & internal systems
* Co-ordinating samples, working with Logistics, Merchandising, Production & Trade
* Uploading price changes across various trading territories
* Completing online comparative shopping searches and reporting on current market developments and changes
* Raising & processing purchase orders
Project Coordination
* Work closely with the Buying & Trade Teams to co-ordinate new launches
* Ensure our product databases & systems are kept up to date
* Maintain accurate records of price quotations, lead times & supplier documentation
* Track order status and delivery dates for prototypes and samples
Supplier Communication
* Maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers & brands
* Ensure all promotion rebates are reported back to the relevant brands
Other Admin Improvements & Support
* Help streamline administrative processes in the NPD procurement area.
* Support continuous improvement activities related to documentation, data flow, and procurement reporting
Our ideal candidate
* 1-2 years previous experience as a Buying admin
* Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage time & workload efficiently.
* Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed accurately.
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel
* Excellent administration skills.
