A well‑established, Torbay‑based main dealership within a respected privately owned South West dealer group is seeking an experienced Passenger Car TECHNICIAN and a Light Commercial Vehicle TECHNICIAN to join its busy workshop team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a professional, supportive dealer group offering long‑term stability and ongoing development.
Working within a modern, well‑equipped workshop, you will be responsible for a broad range of diagnostic, repair, and servicing activities across passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
* Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
* Completing vehicle health checks and associated documentation accurately
* Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and carrying out repairs as required
* Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high-quality standard
* Supporting workshop and customer service standards at all times
To be considered, applicants must have:
* Sustained, hands‑on experience within a professional workshop environment
* NVQ Level 2 or above (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* A full UK driving licence with no excessive penalty points
* A reliable, methodical approach to work and strong attention to detail
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
