About the Role
Amazing infrastructure isn’t the only thing that gets built here. Incredible careers do too. Join our Enabling Functions team as an Assistant Property Manager based in Derby build something to be proud of. This is a hybrid role which requires a minimum of 3 days a week in the office/on site.
To support the property and project teams with the administration and operation of a diverse portfolio of office, warehousing, manufacturing facilities, and land across the UK, and provide a range of advisory and analytical services covering all aspects of Property to support general business operations and contribute to the effective delivery of Property services across the company.
What you'll be doing
* Review and Draft licence documents and advise internal teams appropriately
* Maintain a working knowledge of the estate to ensure general queries can be dealt with independently.
* Advise internal clients on straightforward property matters
* Ensure that the Property Portal/Database are up to date and reflect any changes with the property portfolio.
* Review, analyse and advise on property usage across the estate
* Coordinate rating assessment reviews and tracking
* Administration support for annual service charge budget reviews
* Ensure approvals are coordinated for signature and administer Adobe Sign.
* Administer policy documentation and reviews annually to ensure updates are managed in a timely fashion
* Utilise available software and build relationships to support site searching and due diligence checks
* Coordinate activities of property and project teams
Who we're looking for
* Ideally 1-2 years' experience of working in a landlord or tenant real estate environment.
* A Property Management related degree e.g. Real Estate, Property Management is desirable, but not essential.
* Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time management skills and strong attention to detail for meticulous record keeping; providing support working in a fast-paced environment to meet targets and deadlines.
* Strong communication and relationship skills.
* Good understanding of the commercial property market
* Strong IT skills, confident using Microsoft office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
* Strong team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
* Property management knowledge would be desirable but not essential
