What we need.
We are in need of a capable 2nd Chef with previous experience in a similar job. We are looking to appoint someone who has the passion, drive, commitment and organisational skills to push themselves further into their career, producing fresh locally sourced ingredients to high standard.
· You will be taking responsibility for own area and the general running of the kitchen operation, ensuring delivery is made effectively and efficiently whilst understanding customer needs and requirements.
· You will be a team player, able to supervise and motivate staff in line with working to company procedures and ensure compliance to Health & Safety Policy.
· You must demonstrate an understanding of stock, wastage, sales figures and an ability to work to agreed kitchen percentage.
· You must be flexible, highly motivated, enthusiastic and have a 'calm can-do' working style when under pressure, with good organisation skills.
· You must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with customers and your team
· You should hold a Food Hygiene certificate or equivalent. Further training would be available in relation to CPD.
· Proven catering experience including preparing and presenting food to a high standard is essential.
· You must have proof of ID to work in the UK.
Salary: £27,000.00 /year
