Seven Social Care are currently recruiting for several Parent and Family Workers to start a new role in Nottinghamshire. This is a locum role offering £18.25 per hour.
As a Parent and Family Worker, you will carry out parenting assessments and deliver planned and structured interventions to children, young people, and families.
The role involves:
* Working directly with families in their homes to improve routines, boundaries, and home conditions,
* Delivering parenting programmes and workshops in a variety of settings to parents
* Undertaking parenting assessments for adults with a learning disability.
Responsibilities:
* To work to deliver the targets set down in the service and team business plan
* To complete specialist assessments of children, young people, parents, carers, and families in line with service guidance
* To plan and deliver structured packages graduated parenting interventions to children, young people, parents, carers, and families in line with service guidance
* To keep timely and accurate records of work, including running records and the entry of data as specified
Applicant Requirements:
* Experience: A minimum of two years’ experience of working with children, young people, and their families, specifically challenging parents
* Qualifications: 5 GCSEs at level A*-C (including English) or equivalent
* Compliance: Enhanced Adults and Childrens DBS, Right to Work in the UK
* Hours : 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday
* Travel: Full UK driving license and access to your own car
