Operator / Pipeline TechnicianUp to £37,640 salary + shift allowance (£11,000) + On call rota feeInvernessShift work - 2 days/2 nights/6 offOutsource UK are recruiting experienced operators for our client who are a fuel storage company based in Inverness. Experience working in top tier COMAH/aviation fuel environments is preferred.The position will initially operate on core hours before transitioning into a 24-hour shift pattern, including participation in standby and on-call rotas.Key Responsibilities:Setting up pumping routes and safely receiving, delivering, and transferring fuel products between sitesOperating in accordance with approved route cards and operational proceduresActing as an Approved Inspector of Fuel Quality, maintaining fuel and additive integrityManaging stock control activities including tank dipping, temperature correction, batch records, and month-end accountingOperating computerised systems including SCADA and ABB systemsMaintaining excellent housekeeping standards across plant, equipment, and facilitiesSupporting emergency preparedness and response activitiesLiaising with SCADA control teams to ensure safe and efficient depot and pipeline operationsIssuing Permits to Work and monitoring contractor complianceCarrying out planned proof checks on equipment and systemsSupporting maintenance activities where requiredReporting defects, hazards, near misses, and operational issues promptlyParticipating in standby and emergency callout rotasMonitoring and maintaining pipeline wayleaves, vegetation control, and pipeline infrastructureConducting site visits and inspections relating to third-party worksCompiling operational reports including infringements, line walks, aerial patrol findings, and site inspectionsAbout You Experience in fuel handling, pipeline operations, or hazardous environmentsKnowledge of COMAH and COSHH regulationsExperience using operational control systems such as SCADAApply Now To apply for this opportunity, please contact Outsource UK or submit your application online.TPBN1_UKTJ
