Role Purpose
The Senior Project Engineer (SPE) is responsible for the design, installation, and delivery of broadcast and technical projects. This includes managing detailed design, installation, commissioning, and supervision of wiring teams. The SPE serves as the main customer contact from project scope to sign-off and contributes to process reviews and lessons learned within the division.
Key Responsibilities
1. Main point of contact for customers
2. Manage project timelines and budgets
3. Lead initial system design discussions with clients
4. Create and manage system documentation and change tracking
5. Oversee equipment installation, configuration, and testing
6. Advise admin staff on equipment purchasing
7. Generate prebuild and material lists
8. Supervise wiring teams
9. Report on project status internally and to clients
10. Create change requests and manage variations
11. Supervise additional engineering staff
12. Complete project acceptance procedures and documentation
13. Perform project snagging
14. Convert proposals into project deliverables
15. Manage site work, including health and safety protocols
16. Additional tasks such as client discussions, sales support, case studies, project meetings, customer support, training, quality control, and conflict resolution

* Liaises with: Proposals, Project, and Sales Teams
Essential Requirements
* Experience in project delivery
* Knowledge of broadcast systems and technology
* Equipment configuration expertise
* Understanding of planning, quality, problem-solving, process management, and commercial awareness
* Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel), AutoCAD LT
* Self-motivated with good timekeeping and organizational skills
* Full UK Driving Licence

* Experience within ISO9001 environments
