An established and fast-growing environmental consultancy group is seeking an experienced Senior Permitting Specialist to play a key role in expanding its permitting services and supporting high-profile industrial emissions policy projects across the UK, Europe and internationally.
This role offers the chance to influence strategy at a pivotal time for industrial emissions regulation, contribute to major international projects, and progress your career within a friendly, collaborative and highly skilled environment.
Key Responsibilities :
* Lead and refine its permitting and industrial emissions strategy
* Drive business development and secure new opportunities
* Manage and direct permit applications, variations, transfers and surrenders
* Provide clear regulatory advice to clients on UK permitting requirements
* Contribute technical expertise to national and international industrial emissions policy projects
* Stay up to date with upcoming legislation
Skills & Experience :
* Expert knowledge of the Industrial Emissions Directive and associated UK regulations
* Consultancy experience in environmental permitting or compliance
* Strong professional network and proven ability to develop new business
* Ability to communicate complex regulatory issues clearly
* Skilled at coordinating multi-disciplinary teams
* Strong written and verbal and communication skills
