Our UK Environment Practice consists of approximately 600 professionals providing consultancy and advisory services. We address challenges like climate change, social inclusion, and urbanisation. We seek an experienced environmental professional to lead our Environmental Management team in London, focusing on areas such as water, energy, and local authority projects.
This role offers career development for an experienced candidate eager to advance in a dynamic industry. You will collaborate with technical experts, lead Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), manage client relationships, develop new business, and mentor team members.
Responsibilities
* Lead environmental coordination and delivery, including EIA and environmental management.
* Manage a team of environmental professionals and coordinate with Practice Management.
* Oversee project programmes and budgets.
* Promote high environmental standards within engineering projects.
* Manage client needs professionally, lead bid preparations, and develop new business opportunities.
Requirements
* Degree or Master’s in environmental or science discipline.
* Chartered status with relevant post-graduate experience, preferably in consultancy.
* Experience with major infrastructure projects.
* Deep knowledge of the EIA process and technical environmental expertise.
* Leadership experience in multidisciplinary teams, report writing, and presentation skills.
