We are recruiting for a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer within the Manufacturing Engineering Department. The successful candidate will be involved in capital and process development projects, aid the introduction and improvement of production and business processes, and focus on planning and implementing product R&D into production. The role provides production support through technical input to problem‑solving, implements continuous improvement by highlighting deficiencies, and works alongside contractors ensuring health, safety, and environmental requirements are adhered to.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Consider health and safety management across all projects.
* Collaborate between Technical, Production, Engineering and R&D to enable new products and processes and optimise existing ones.
* Review latest technologies through attendance of technology shows and business seminars.
* Train employees in Lean methodologies where applicable.
* Manage departmental projects ensuring safety, quality, delivery and value while considering environmental impacts.
* Continuously review current production processes, recommend improvements, and implement them sustainably.

* Engineering degree (e.g. Controls, System, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical).
* Engineering apprenticeship in a suitable area (e.g. electrical, mechanical, programming).
* Expert experience with manufacturing lines and processes.
Experience
* Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and handle aggressive deadlines.
* Interest in lean engineering, continuous improvement, and waste reduction.
* Manufacturing experience desirable, especially in composites or plastics.
* Interest in additive manufacturing and production automation/Industry 4.0.
* Good finance awareness.
