History Teacher – York
Full-Time, Temporary
£150–£220 per day
We are seeking an enthusiastic History Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in York. This is a full-time temporary role, offering a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and bring the past to life.
What you’ll do:
* Deliver engaging and creative History lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the curriculum
* Support students in achieving their academic potential
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
What we’re looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A commitment to supporting student progress and wellbeing
