Private Client Legal Secretary



We’re working with a well-established law firm recruiting for a Legal Secretary / Administrator to join their Private Client team in a busy, friendly, and diverse central London office

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior secretarial or administrative experience and a genuine interest in Private Client work to join a supportive environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the team, providing both administrative and client-facing support.


You’ll be responsible for:

* Managing correspondence and legal documents, always ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
* Opening and closing client files, archiving, and maintaining accurate records and databases
* Supporting financial administration and diary management for the team
* Acting as an initial point of contact for new enquiries, liaising with clients and arranging meetings
* Coordinating team meetings, business development activities, and marketing events
* Providing general administrative support to the Private Client team as required
* Maintaining high standards of organisation across all tasks and processes
* Ensuring all work is handled with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail


This role would suit someone with previous experience in a similar position, strong keyboard and administrative skills, and a professional, flexible approach. You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills, confidence dealing with clients, and a clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
