Role Responsibilities:
* Ensure safe deployment of engineering activities, complying with Carlsberg SHE, LOTO, and emergency response procedures.
* Lead and develop a high-performing, multi‑skilled engineering shift team through coaching, appraisals, and training.
* Oversee accurate SAP CMMS reporting, spare parts management, and continuous improvement of maintenance practices.
* Coordinate and supervise reactive and preventative maintenance, including 3rd‑party contractor activity and plant shutdowns.
* Drive shift‑level continuous improvement using Lean TPM, RCA, Six Sigma, and machine reliability metrics (MTBF/MTTR).
* Manage performance against KPIs for safety, quality, hygiene, and preventative maintenance delivery.
* Conduct process confirmations, permit reviews, and RAMS assessments to ensure safe and efficient engineering execution.
* Champion team recognition, capability development, and compliance with all legislative and company standards.
Experience and Key Attributes:
* Proven experience managing engineering shift maintenance and planning within Brewing, Packaging, or FMCG environments.
* Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements for Packaging and Process equipment maintenance.
* Demonstrated commitment to LeanTPM principles and continuous improvement, acting as a role model for best practices.
* High‑level competencies in leadership, analytical thinking, collaboration, and decision‑making under pressure.
* Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and empowering teams to drive performance and change.
* Qualified to HNC level (or equivalent) in engineering, or with significant relevant experience.
* Familiarity with Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental standards and compliance.
