Year 1 Class Teacher & Maths Lead – Full-Time Hastings, East Sussex Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications Immediate or February start The School and Role: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Year 1 Class Teacher & Maths Lead to join a supportive primary academy in Hastings. This full-time role combines leading a Year 1 class with a school-wide responsibility for driving excellence in mathematics across all key stages. As a Year 1 teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the curriculum, creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. As Maths Lead, you will develop and implement strategies to raise attainment in mathematics, support colleagues with planning and assessment, and monitor the progress of pupils across the school. You will be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking staff team committed to ensuring every child achieves their potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
